Hi you. I’m writing this on the last day of the pop-up shop. It exceeded my self-set high expectations in every way. I’ve loved meeting new people, reconnecting with former clients and seeing first hand, what people gravitate towards. More on that in a later post, but in the meantime – our next gig is a SAMPLE SALE starting tomorrow!!! I will post the specifics on Facebook and IG, so check there if you are local, as the items will not be on the website. The pieces I’m bringing in are from design projects that we didn’t end up using, as well as some vintage treasures and items from previous pop-ups. All GORGEOUS and super low pricing, so if you are in the Bay Area, please do stop in.
So, onto a very serious topic. Jeans. There is a style that emerged a few years ago which I assumed would be a fad, but I was wrong. Besides not being one to fall prey to trends I frankly didn’t think they were all that flattering either. Well, after seeing this new style appear literally everywhere over the past year, I’ve gone 180 degrees the other way, So, I decided to give them a try and I can honestly say I love them. As an added confirmation, they get a bazillion inquiries where I got them too. I will post mine on Instagram in the next couple of days (when I’m not at the shop all day!). Here are some images of what inspired me to take the plunge.
Because the style is subtle – high waisted, fitted on the seat but looser on the leg, cut above the ankle – and can be confused with others (like boyfriend or cropped bootcut), here are some sources:
The jeans above are the actual ones I got after looking at literally everything out there. This company, as well as this particular style have been touted as the best fitting, make your butt look more amazing than any other jeans, number one must-have jeans to get this season. I believed them (and Vogue!), and based on how many people stop me and ask where I got them, I think they back up what they say. They’re from here.
More denim inspo here.
